Saved Views

Your task list and client list can each be filtered in dozens of ways. Saved views let you capture those filter combinations and access them with a single click.

Build the views that match how you actually work, pin your favourites to the navigation menu, and use them to power your Focus Panel and dashboard widgets.

Save Any Filter Combination

Configure your task list or client list exactly how you need it, then save the whole configuration as a named view. Next time, one click brings it all back.

Each saved view remembers your complete filter state including sort preferences, so you get exactly the same view every time.

Custom Icons and Colours

Give each saved view its own icon and colour to make it instantly recognisable. When you have several views pinned to the navigation menu, the visual distinction helps you find the right one at a glance.

Pin to Navigation Menu

Your most-used views - whether for tasks or clients - can be pinned directly to the main navigation menu for quick access. Instead of navigating to a list and then selecting a view, jump straight to it from anywhere in the application.

Pin your "My Overdue Tasks" view, your "Active Limited Companies" client view, or any other view you use regularly.

Preset and Custom Date Ranges

Saved views support both preset date ranges (this week, this month, this quarter) and custom date ranges. Preset ranges are dynamic - a "this week" view always shows the current week, not the week you saved it.

Custom date ranges are useful for specific periods like tax year deadlines or seasonal workloads.

Task View Filters

Task saved views can filter by any combination of:

  • Client - specific clients or client groups
  • User - assigned to specific team members
  • Team - assigned to specific task teams
  • Category - task categories
  • Status - open, in progress, completed, etc.

Combine filters to create precise views like "My VAT tasks due this month" or "Team B's overdue bookkeeping work."

Client View Filters

Client saved views let you slice your client list by the criteria that matter to your practice:

  • Status - active, prospect, dormant, and more
  • Client type - limited company, sole trader, partnership, etc.
  • Manager / Partner / Associate - filter by the staff members responsible for each client
  • Services - clients subscribed to specific billable services

Create views like "Active Limited Companies managed by Sarah" or "All prospects awaiting onboarding" and access them instantly.

Overdue-Only Mode

Toggle overdue-only mode on a task saved view to show only tasks that have passed their due date. This is a quick way to create a view that highlights work needing immediate attention without manually setting date filters.

Workflow Steps (Calendar View) Mode

Switch a task saved view to calendar view mode to see individual workflow steps rather than whole tasks. This is useful when you want to focus on what needs doing next across multiple tasks - see all the steps assigned to you, regardless of which task they belong to.

Calendar view works particularly well with the Focus Panel, where you can work through your step queue one by one.
