Requests

When your practice runs hundreds of tasks through workflows, outgoing communications pile up — emails to review, documents to send for approval, forms to dispatch. The Requests page gathers everything in one place so you can work through it without opening individual tasks.

Ready to Send

The Ready to Send tab shows every manual-mode workflow step that is waiting for someone to review and send. Emails, document requests, document approvals, client confirmations, and forms — all in one list, across every task in your practice.

The list defaults to steps assigned to you, so you see your personal queue first. Switch the filter to see another team member's queue, unassigned steps, or everyone's. Filter further by step type, client manager, partner, or task category.

A badge on the Requests navigation item shows how many steps are waiting for you, so you always know at a glance if there's work to do.

Act Without Navigating Away

Click any row and the right dialog opens immediately. For email steps, document requests, confirmations, and forms, the email composer appears with the recipients, subject, and body pre-filled from the workflow template. Review, edit if you like, and click send.

For document approval steps, the upload or template generation dialog opens. If the step uses a document template, fill in any custom values and generate the document — then send it for client approval, all without leaving the page.

Once you send, the step is done and the list refreshes. Move straight to the next one.

Bulk Actions

Select multiple steps using the checkboxes and act on them at once. Skip steps you no longer need, assign them to yourself, or reassign them to a colleague. The same confirmation dialogs and user picker you see on the tasks page are used here for a consistent experience.

Tracking Sent Requests

The other tabs on the Requests page track what happens after you send. Forms, document approvals, document requests, and client confirmations each have their own tab showing what's been sent and what's still waiting for a client response.

Filter by status, client manager, partner, or task category. Click any row to jump straight to the task where the request originated.

How Steps End Up Here

Steps appear on the Ready to Send tab when three conditions are met: the step is a client-facing communication type (not a simple checklist item), it is set to manual execution mode (so it waits for a human rather than firing automatically), and all its dependency steps are complete.

Many teams start with steps in manual mode until they're confident in the content, then switch them to automatic once the templates are proven. The Ready to Send tab is designed for that transition period — and for any step where a personal touch matters, like client-facing emails that benefit from a quick review before sending.
