Two switches in your practice settings take the UK out of the app. Companies House goes first: the company search, the automatic syncing of officers and company details, the statutory key dates from the register, and the registered company fields on client and contact records. Then HMRC agent authorisations: the authorisations section on client records, the authorisation types on your services, and the HMRC Agent page in settings. Off means gone, not greyed out.
Then set the practice to your region. Choose your currency — pounds, euro, US, Australian, New Zealand or Canadian dollars, or South African rand — and a locale that decides how dates and numbers are written. It follows through everywhere the numbers appear: proposals and engagement letters, service prices, billing, the client portal and the reports. There is no separate date-format setting to keep in step — the locale decides it.
