Portal Access Management

Toggle portal access on or off for individual contacts. If a contact doesn't have an email address yet, Sodium prompts you to add one and sends the invitation automatically. One click to grant access — the system handles the rest.

Revoke access just as easily. You stay in control of exactly who can see what.

Document Approvals

Clients see documents pending their approval right on the home page. They click through to review the document, then approve or reject it with optional notes. Your team gets notified immediately when they respond.

Document Requests

Outstanding document requests are shown prominently in the portal. Clients can see what you've asked for, upload files with descriptions, and submit their response — all without sending a single email.

Deadlines are visible so clients know when you need things by, and the status updates in real time as they upload and submit.

Client Information

Clients can view their contact details, the services you provide to them, and invoices if you've connected your accounting software. It's a convenient reference point that saves them from having to ask you for basic information.

Multi-Client Support

Some contacts are linked to more than one client — a director with multiple companies, for example. Portal contacts can access all the client records they're linked to, switching between them seamlessly.

Each client's documents, requests, and approvals stay separate. The contact just gets a single login to manage everything.

Customisation

Portal settings let you control what's visible to clients. Toggle services, invoices, and intro page content on or off depending on what makes sense for your practice. You decide what clients can see.

Notifications

Clients receive emails when there's something for them to act on — new document requests, approval requests, and notifications when a submission has been rejected and needs attention.

Emails come from your practice address if you've connected your email provider, keeping everything professional and consistent.
