Get HMRC Held Position
Returns the cumulative year-to-date position HMRC currently holds for one income source and tax year, whichever software filed it. This is how a quarter filed elsewhere becomes visible, and what a new update is seeded from so figures are edited forward rather than retyped. Nothing held is the normal state before the year's first submission, not an error.
