Asks HMRC to work out the calculation a tax return declares.
A tax return does not declare whatever calculation HMRC last ran. It declares one triggered for
that purpose: as an intent to finalise for the return itself, or as an intent to amend for a
change to a return already filed. The in-year estimates the quarterly updates produce are never
candidates, so until this has been run for a year there is nothing to send.
